Help shape the toolbox
What’s next?
If only I knew.
Oh man, if only I knew where my brain was going to take me next.
That’s the honest answer. FOX comes from years of ideas, prototypes and field work. Some ideas grow into useful tools. Some get tried and put aside. Your experience can help decide which ones deserve another look.
Working on now
- AirWitness and FOX Relay in private testing. Working through field feedback, bugs and the differences between platforms.
- Optional wireless hardware profiles. A review-first button for the next desktop update, so users can choose to share adapter and driver details without account, license or installation IDs.
- Clearer help. Real field reports, practical setup notes and honest explanations of the rough edges.
Experiments
This is where a promising idea gets tried on an actual job. It might become a workflow, a small helper or something that belongs in a plugin. It might also teach me that the idea needs another pass. An experiment earns its place by being useful.
The wishlist
Installation helpers. Bulk access point configuration. Better ways to work with controllers, switches, firewalls and the other kit field engineers support. Tools to capture and understand the evidence coming out of them.
That’s space to explore, not a release schedule. If you have a job that would make a good starting point, I want to hear about it.
What repetitive job do you wish FOX could take off your hands?
Describe the job, how you do it now and what a useful tool would change. You don’t need a polished feature specification. “I have to do this same thing fifty times” is a perfectly good place to start.
You can also email me directly. If something already in the app is making your job harder, report the bug.
